This timer is for a comfortable BOLT-style baseline, not a maximum hold. Stop at the first clear desire to breathe.

How to test

  1. Sit down and breathe normally for one minute.
  2. Take a normal inhale and a normal exhale.
  3. After the exhale, start the timer and hold gently.
  4. Stop at the first definite desire to breathe, then resume calm nasal breathing.
